i started to paint a whole bretonnian army, in the end i had no time for any heraldry, but the overall view is ok, i'll try to finish them in the next months ...
and now that i have time every single model gets a freehand (this means 250 single fleur des lis :D)
here's a full army view from the tournament

well, Project Bretonnia will be over the next months and i'll post here all my achievements :D
So plz share some tipps and feedback ;)

Looks promising, I'll keep my eyes open for the completion of this mini. I like Brets but can't stand painting horses.

keep this style! this is more like historical models than the actual GW bretonnia, and that's why I like it so much :)

The checkered pattern look great! I only would have used a different colour as now it matches the horses colour too much Imho...

P.s; Why is the mini standing only half on the base? :?

I think the colours on this guy are awesome ! they really fit together, and are very suitable for a lower class knight. the blending on the horse barding is top notch, if you put some nice freehands on the shields this is going to be a great piece of work !
