Well, somewhere it has to begin. Why not sharing my actual project which is close to be finished?

I am currently painting one if the new ice sorceress of Reaper Miniatures.

There are some goals I wanted to reach when it comes to te base later. It will be te first time I am using snow effect and some water covers by some ice on too. Here's my current progress of the base:

The overall color scheme is blue brown. Currently it's more looking like a shaman then a sorceress, maybe that's because I ve reworked her staff. The original one is not really fitting to my taste.

Seems like I am a little bit shy and missing some words today pictures will do justice to me I think:

Most areas are covered with color so far. But there s still a lot if work for the "last" brushstrokes.

Please let me know what you are thinking about it. Any c&c are highly appreciated

Yesterday evening I was painting a little more on my shaman. Not much left and she's done.

This morning I glued her to the base. Now I have to sculpt the rocks under we foot.

Later some water will be added, followed by some snow all around her.

I hope the base will have more stuff on it cause right now it's just empty looking like that.
Besides that, looking forward to see the final version of the mini

I'll fill the mould in the front right with water effect covered with a layer of ice. Afterwards there will be snow.

Any other ideas?

highlight more blue parts same to hairs - by doing so you will actualy make it brighter so more "ice / Snow" sorceress now itr is more Grey shaman
