Chest of Colors forum

Hi all,

I am new here and I am beginner in miniature painting. I use Vallejo model colours.

As first miniature I choose Norse Lord from Andrea miniatures. I start with his hair, face and hands. What do you think ?? Thanks

Maybe some Light Grey basecoat like the one from Tamiya.

Anyways, both, hair and skin, need more contrast on both ends shadows as well as highlights but you got a solid start there. Now the fun part (blending).

Doesn't seem to be basecoated at all to me, but well, if in the end result is the same, why not

I used Mr.Primer Surfacer 1000 for base coated.
