FiloSganga's WIP

Hi there!
Like I saw you use here, this is my WIP's topic.
First of all excuse my slow painting rhythm; excuse even my poor English in technique and color-processes explanations.
So, here we go with images...

This is a Dwarf Lord actually in painting; it's almost complete but I post it here at this point so you can criticize it and give me precious advise. The only thing to be done is the mantle (at the moment only base color, Blood Red).
Some detail, if you want to know more just ask:
about NMM gold: base color Vomit Brown, shading gradually to Scorched Brown and Chaos Black, lighting to Skull White;
about skin: base color Dwarf Flesh, shading gradually to Dark Flesh, lighting to Elf Flesh and Skull White.

Let me know what you think.
Thank you so much
Alb :)

Thank you Maru.
The idea with the base was to keep it simple like that. Just a stone-stairs: it was an "architectural" experiment. More complex bases are coming soon :)

add detailsd like moss / lichens (if this is corect world )
end change colors betwen vertical parts end horizontal - this will add 3D effect to whole base

gold NMM - add some white blinks for light reflections
cape - very flat, or is just the photo? Or maybe you want to paint a freehand on it? :D
Overall very good miniature and I like it.

Thank you so much, Maru and sea.man.
The cape is absolutely flat... There is only the base color (Blood Red). I'm going to shade and light it in a while.

Hi guys,
first of all I apologize for the slow painting rhythms...
I'm here to refresh my WIP thread with some pics of the Eldar Farseer I'm workin' on at the moment.
In these pictures only the helmet (with "mask" and lenses), metal armour (except right arm) and the brown bag are completed (even if obviously I'm here to ask for suggestions); the other areas of the mini are only still in base colour.
Thank you for watching
Alb :)

I just would say, so far so good :) I like the contrast on the helmet and I am waiting for more progress!
