Looks nice. Great weathering and battledamage but as already said in your other miniature threads the armor lacks a bit of contrast. I mean for gaming he looks great but I guess when you increase the contrast on the armor it might help your auctions and draw a bit more attention. :)

aperture 5.6 - try F8 should increse overall sharpnes instede of quite narrow 1 as you use apo of 80mm

moust photos got sharp base - thats the point in wich camera focused on
- trayed Manualy set focus point (like in analog cameras ??)

end good info - yhis time photo is not burned

Photo response :) Wind up the aperture to either f/11 or f/13 (I personally don't trust f/16+ on non-full-frame cameras), and if you feel REALLY advanced, go manual on the focus, get it sharp and then pull the point of focus back towards you just a fraction before shooting (hyperfocal technique) for maximum depth of field. Also shift the mini a bit further away from the minimum possible focal point for your lens - whilst it will get a little smaller in the frame, you'll extend your depth of field a touch more.

I think that even there is a battle damage, the armor is flat painted (just like on the space marine librarian).
miniatures painted:
2011 - 83, 2012 - 38, 2013 - 45, 2014 - 56, 2015 - 95, 2016 - 106, 2017 - 22

thanks guys
voyager good to see another aussie here :)
nameless yes I have been doing some quick and average minis of late (I think I'm in abit of a ebay rut  ) but I'm going to have a go at doing a couple of better paintings and see if they sell for any more or if the ebay folk just want basic gaming stuff like I've been doing :?:
more pictures here plus the votes wouldn't hurt ;) https://www.coolminiornot.com/artist/jason
