Empty Dropper Bottles

Hey!

I hope this is the right place for this. A few weeks ago I had a chat with Hellspawn (and also with TomaZ some days ago :D) and the topic Empty Dropper Bottles came up so I thought I might share that.

I refill all my paints which come in "normal" pots to dropper bottles (like the ones from Vallejo). For me it's much more comfortable this way and also easier when mixing colors.

The ones on my pictures are from a german store called Fantasywelt - I also ordered some from Maelstorm Games which should arrive next week. I can't say yet that the ones from Maelstorm will be the same but I do think so. As soon as I get them I'll let you know if they are different or not.

//EDIT: Just got my package from Maelstorm Games and the bootles are the same (size/shape) only the cap is white instead of red (which for me actually is even better 'cause I like putting a drop of paint on top of those caps). :)

So here's a picture how these bottles look (I also put one of the new Citadel/GW paints next to it which will be refilled ;) ). Pretty much the same like the ones from Vallejo except for the red cap - also 17ml.

When refilling I shake the original paint (in this case the Citadel/GW one) and simply refill... no thinning with water or anything. Ofc I loose a bit of paint when doing this but it's still worth it for me. Here's a picture on how much I more or less get from a Citadel/GW pot by refilling it to one of these bottles:

Since Citadel/GW paints are 12ml the amount I "loose" by this process ain't that much. :)

A last picture - shaken and rdy to use:

As a label I usually use the sticker from the original pot or write down the name with a marker.

Well that's it.

Cheers

I'm thinking of doing the same, dropper bottles are sooo much more easier to use with airbrush and you can save sooo much more space than with GW ones :) I'll have to do that one day, especially since the ones sold on Maelstrom cost £0.32 each :D
