I love these skeletons very, very much. For me, they're the best ones by any manufacturer out there. This may well be because they remind me so much of the Jason and the Argonaut ones :p

Anyway, it was fun to do :)

I have to agree, the Otherworld skeletons are the best out there!

I like the work you have done on the bones, but what happened to the sword? I don't quite get what you tried to achieve with the mix of inks you used on it.

Keep it up.

Nice skeleton as well. It has a kind of cleaner look, but I like it. The pose reminds me of Usher dancing in one of his videos. :)

I also think the sword does not fit well.

Rackham Skeletons are also pretty cool.

I guess the sword meant to be rusted and oxidated (bronze/copper) with a smear of blood. I think the oxidation is a bit overkill maybe?

Very nice skellie both sculpt as painting. Have you painted every mini from your own range btw? :)

what's going on, a skeleton day on the forum? :)
another nice skellie, though as it was mentioned already, amount of special effect on the blade is over the top. rust + oxidation + blood = too much. it looks like a 60's psychodelia colour scheme ;)

Almost! Never got around to painting a couple of them (got some friends to do that)...one day :p

:)

It certainly ain't realistic :p . To be honest, it was a bit of fun to be had with the colours. The photo is a bit brighter than it is in the hand, but years ago I decided to just paint things up and have a bit of fun in the process, which I did! Realism went out the window with it I think!

realism is one thing, and I sure don't require walking skeleton to be realistic ;)
another thing is if this look believable and/or good... to me it doesn't :) but, it's your mini! if you had fun - what's more to ask for when you paint? :)
