Sea.man: I saw bigger photos, and base looks like illuminated by full moon, so contrast on a metalic parts is good, but hood or skirt (or what is it called) could get more contrast in MY opinion from this photos. Neverless again it's Great work P1per, hope I will see it live!
I was in Ingolstadt year ago and we are planning to go this year too
p1per's stuff

Re: p1per's stuff
thx guys
@Red clothes - I guess it's mainly the image the hood even has some pure yellow "top" highlights in it but as usual there's never enough contrast however deadline was approaching and at some point u gotta say "finished" haha
/Edit: Oh forgot - no I probably won't make it to Ingolstadt this year.

Here we go "finished" version of my Princess of Night. I did tweak some things but at the end I couldn't bring the motivation to push it further. Anyways hope you still like her.

and I think it can be seen... nice paintjob, but far from your best.p1per wrote:I couldn't bring the motivation to push it further.
I like the cross, lady looks quite boring and flat (pun not intended) in comparison - skin, hair, cloth...
frankly though, I'd like to paint to that quality when I loose my motivation

Barbarian Dude "finished"
More or less, for me he's finished. He has been way too long now on my workbench and I need and want to start something new. Hope you still like him.

I agree the rocks seem out of placeNameless wrote:very nice, though I'd like to see some variation in colour of the skin and rocks

thx guys.
@skin - yep definately color variations would be one more to-do thing there
@rocks - they are quite colorful which the pictures unfortunately don't really show and also a bit brighter and not that dark. I tried to do another closeup with a more focused lightning on the stonewall, maybe this will show the colorvariations a bit better
