Kick'a'MiSiU project...

So my PC just died yesterday. Besides being an annoyance it also gave me some spare time from gaming to spend on my hobby. And I realised that my last game was almost half a year ago. Model-wise it's a bit better, but having a full-time job and two small goblins kids the only time free is between 9 and 11 P.M. and I tend to go for the easy solutions like "smash-a-few-brains-in-a-videogame". So I came up with two things:

First is my New Years's resolve: paint a single mini every month. It's not gaming related, as I have a zillion backlog projects in various stages of completion, and hopefully will include some projects finished, and some friends gifted. The first mini for that project was M.E. mini, let's hope I'll keep it up.

The second is to build a new force to occupy myself, for gaming purposes only. As I'm a dedicated Chaos Space Marines player I would normally go for upgrading this force, but I'm really bored with the possibilities there so... I decided to go for vanilla-SM army, just converted and painted to match my CSM models.

Current objectives to be done:

Librarian

Thunder hammer/storm shield Termie Squad

Land Raider transport

Thunderfire Cannon + Techmarine

Tactical Squad with Razorback transport

I'll update it as I proceed.

Go to hell... I dare you... :bonk:
Yesterday I took out my airbrush and started work on Brother TeCraDu (like Test Crash Dummy), better known as the paint scheme tester. As I needed to invent a quick enough painting method I used airbrush, with basecoat of Valleo Model Air Black, and then Valleo Air Gunmetal on the whole mini as the base colour. Next I applied two layers of Devlan Mud wash and it's now ready for next layer of Gunmetal and then VMA Silver applied with bursh (hopefully today). Unfortunately my PC is still dead so no photos
