This was a quick commission job for a friend of mine in my gaming group. We're going to be starting a Pathfinder game soon, so I'm hoping he'll use this guy for this character.
I'm not a fan of the sculpt at all- it's ugly and mishapen and has no sense of proportions- but it was fun to paint. The whole thing only took about 2 hours to paint, not counting drying time for quick shade. Once the QS dried I varnsihed and highlighted.
He's got such a wide stance that I couldn't even fit him on a 1" base without some part of him hanging off over nothingness. The shield was kind of a happy accident, but it really pulls the whole thing together.
