Hi All (again)

Here is the finished model I gave my brother for his 50th.
It's a Pegaso piece - lovely to work with though the plume on the hat proved delicate and broke a couple of times




Given another week there are a few bits I would have fixed up but overall I'm fairly happy.

That is one really great miniature! I really like it, the contrast is very good for such scale. The best parts are stone fence, trousers and jacket, white gloves. Good composition and color selection - is it Pegaso's painting scheme?
Things that I would improve:
skin - give it some more extra color -pink, violets?
gold - more blinks? and more contrast, more shades would be nice
sword - I don't like it. did you pain it with metallics paints? also it is lost, because of the similar color as the stone
cigar - you could paint some ash at the end of it, it would look as if it was burning

I like it a lot. Czlowiek.morze gave you some good tips that you could use on your next miniatures. I am really happy to see the parts which were problems at earlier stages looking much better now. I don't know if you changed them or just took better photos but now it looks just fine!

My only suggestion would be to work a bit more on your skintones. There are many excellent examples on the internet, plus the article I recommended. And you can always ask for suggestions.

For now you have a very good mini. I hope your brother will be happy with it.
Hopefully we'll see more large-scale and historical models here. They're still a bit rare on this forum
