Chest of Colors forum

Some of you have heard about THE MINI already, some early hints appeared on the forum earlier, so you knew it would be coming...

Those of you who don't know the miniature or character should be happy enough to know that Zed is Sean Connery's character in the movie "Zardoz".



Some people insisted that I shouldn't ever finish this paintjob. Yet I did...
Consider it a crime agaist miniatures or a crime against humanity, but be glad if you didn't have to see it live at Hussar or in my display cabinet!

No superb painjob, it was not supposed to be. Not asking for feedback because I am not going to repaint it and it was not the top of my painting skills. I just wanted to finish this paintjob started in early 2008 or maybe even 2007 (the oldest mentions of that miniature on this forum were from 2008, but I believe I started painting it soon after it was released, which was in 2007, so let's assume 2008 is a fair bet).

This is one of the miniatures I am finishing just to call them finished projects and to move on...

Now here it is, for your eyes only!
Don't hurt other people with it!

I was able to hold that mini, with my own bare hands... I still have nightmares

thanks guys. if anybody wants to hunt this model on ebay and such - bear in mind it suffers from some creative liberties taken by the sculptor regarding human anatomy. Just take a look at his arms (if you can make yourself take a look at the photo again ^^)

anyway, we're now so close to apocalypse... 3 painters of the apocalypse have already revealed themselves....
Slawol came first bringing his clean paintjob without weathering and blood...
Then Nameless brought a painted space marine to the world...
Now it was Mahon's turn to show the 3rd sign...THE mini...
If Demi paints a NMM elf, the world we know will be no more...
