Chest of Colors forum

The name's Fred, I'm French, based in Dubai for a couple of years, where we're developping the hobby. I fell into it in high school (1985), had to abandon it around 1992 due to work, and (gladly) fell back into it in 2010. I'm here because Arctica (whose Daemon Prince won the Golden Camel yesterday) keeps quoting this board as a fantastic source of knowledge, and because I want to improve my painting

I usually enjoy giving a gritty look to my miniatures, which gives me some challenges. Here is an example of my work (C&C welcome). The Logan Grimnar in the center of the composition won Golden Camel last year (Golden Camel is the Gulf Region's equivalent of the GD).

I'll try to overcome my fear and post pictures (in the right forum), although what I have seen so far on this board puts me to shame

As for the Golden Camel, it comes without the b*lls (so that they can be packed and enjoyed separately, obviously :p) I have not entered the contest this year (the winners are offered to judge on the next edition). I have a gallery of the entries of this year, but the light was unsatisfactory, so we will have to reshoot the winning models at least )

Hi Fred ! glad you signed up on the forum, watch out for these guys as they bite >.<.

But post lots of pictures and i'll try my best to help you out when you destroy me with your space wolves oh and just so you know i'm painting all your shoulder pads red.

The golden camels really don't have such balls ^^ but they are very gold, when i get some time i'll take a photo of it
