hey guys did a bit of painting over the weekend and finished these guys they are for the table top

The wings look nice as does the glow effect! I really think the metals could use some more work both shading and highlighting wise. :)

my favorite parts are: the banner (I like the smooth flow of shadows on it) and glow effect (I know it would look better on darker wings, but it's good enough for me)

tabletop quality you say? I say I'd like to see more of such units on tabletops.
good attention to details plus some advanced effects.

things to improve in future? metallics seem to be flat. they could be made more interesting with a simple glaze or two.

thanks guys i agree about the metals but as they are for table top minis (and ebay) and they only took about 6 hours work i am pretty satisfied with them

the whole unit took six hours? WELL DONE :clap:

and you're right about one thing - if you want them to be tabletop quality, no need to push them any further.

in the honor of your new Avarat i decide to took some voice :)
best part - blod drops end osl from engines - worst - gold
but as this whas 6h whole - i will not pick to that - come next year to Poland on Huzzar 2012 we will propably get another speed painting Contest - whana try ?? :D

thanks maru i'd love to come over but due to a medical condition ( i get blood clots DVT) i cannot travel by aeroplane and it is a bit far to travel by ship :lol:
