Heya,

I am sick at home, too wasted for painting so all I can do is evil planning...

During passed few months I replaced part of Warmachine collection with Necromunda gangs - the battles are played almost every friday night so one of my hobby-related dreams from the youth is coming true
And because everybody knows painted minis fight better I want to see my gangs on decent bases for maximum battle efficiency. It wasn't problem in case of my proxied Goliaths - that serie contains only 11 models.
Crap is getting thick in case of some original gangs I have:
they are 15 and more minis strong warbands and if I place them on flat base like Goliaths' it will be just a mob.
I am thinking about making some elevated base so I am gathering ideas. So far there are 2 options: multi-level ruins of a building and something like illusionrip's dark eldar vs blood angels diorama (but there's probably not enough display space for my purposes).
Any kind of sewers is not an option - I want minis look nice on the glass case, not hide inside.

I'll be grateful for any ideas

Yeah, I have something this fashion in mind but I need something bigger and probably taller.
Also I will have to put sockets into the floor levels

Panda, what you showed is something that could be bought or something created by a hobbyist?

it seems to be paper-foamcore-paper, and foamcore is terribly difficult to buy here.

Have you checked advertising agencies?
They have lots of goodies...

ain't a bad idea... I checked them once for styrodur and they had none.
but I could order it from a wholesale distributor...

and I got big leftover (few cm thick) for free

well check the other agency - I found one where guys had nothing sharing thin styrodur leftovers

gotta check them then!
