In this topic you can write when did your magical hobby story have started
Also you can write how did it start and where,also you can say what was your first mini .
Mine History starts in Cracow 2005 when my Older Brother bought an mini that was just unbelievable , I remember that day as it was yesterday, it was an dragon , huge winged Dragon ... :

After that day I cant live without miniatures , its a part of my life I think

For me it all started about 18 years ago - I was very into plastic planes modelling and one day my mum bought me some metal miniatures, which I found weird at first Yes, they are original GW and I still have them I didn't know they were to game I just played with them


Then about 3-5 years later, I went to UK to visit my family in small city of Harrogate. For me it was a shock to see a shop, whole full of those tiny miniatures and dedicated only to them! And they were ment for goaming not for playing!
I fell in love with the skeletons, which opposite to other armies weren't so static and you had to glue the parts together. My first character was:


After 2 years I dropped from the hobby because I didn't have anyone to game with and miniatures were very, very hard to get in Poland.

In 2008 A.D. I found chestofcolors, registered and got back into hobby. I sow that there are other game systems and miniature producers and here I am trying to learn from the best

well for me it started before rogue trader (more or less 1988) with ww2 airfix miniatures that we painted and played with dices and rulers with made up rules.

Then with the launch of 2nd edition warhammer 40k i began my collection, but just in 2008 i really started to pay attention to the painting, and thats it

Started with Necromunda figures (the good old Spyrers) which I still have and which were my first full painted ones
Couldn't stop since, though lots are still not glued nor painted xD (I do even have some where the blister/box still got the plastic )

First mini was a Necromunda Spyrer Yeld
