Hobbit the movie - dwarves shown

Post by mahon »

To say the least: I am disappointed.

While Gimli looked like a dwarf (massive, short, stubborn) these look either ridiculous or simply silly...

Nice costumes...

Bombur looks like Obelix. Great character! :mrgreen:

Oin and Gloin look pretty good, but Thorin is a variation of Aragorn...

Thorin -> Aragorn
Nori -> village idiot
Ori -> beggar or ugly cleric
Dori -> human
Oin = dwarf!
Gloin -> thin dwarf
Fili -> Asterix
Kili -> Human ranger or elf with beard ;)
Bombur -> fat silly dwarf
Bofur -> WTF?
Bifur -> lots of hair on a short man

did they forget that dwarves should have different proportions???
they seemed to remember about it when shooting LotR :think:
