Chest of Colors forum

I have never been one who has bought into the NMM thing so I have spent a long time trying to get my metallics down pat. To that end I have started working on Dante, Lord of the Blood Angels. I plan on doing him in the official GW scheme as a nice show piece, and then later on down the line I am going to convert another Dante to use in my BA Successor chapters version of the Sang Guard. Anyhow here is where I am at with him.



I still have several layers of highlighting that I plan on working up on him and then of course details need to be done.

if you want him to look as interesting as he would with NMM, but prefer to use metallics, that's fine
just don't expect it to be any easier if you want to get good results.

the idea is pretty much the same - you still need to paint highlights, reflections and shadows. just do it with metallic paints.
so: paint NMM with metallic paints.
