There is a lack of contrast in the fotos, but i think you can see a bit, where the journey goes.

I think it's the problem of photos, as Solmar said. If it's not about the photos - you could add some final highlights on the gold, and shade blacks a bit more.

Hi.

Yes the Picture quality is not as goo as i want them to be. And the Gold needs some further Highlights.
What i want to do: all Metal parts on the Model in full NMM, black armor greyish and scratched.
Maybe i have the Time to make further progress this weekend and take some new pictures.
Thanks for your comments.

Here is a small upgrade

I tried to enhance the contrast in the golds and make the Highlights more shiny.

o ok golds startet to look like goold
bones inside are gold to or color of it is to closeend they meld
but black - lacks of saturation - add it (go to saturated dark ) they are betterthen previously but not yet - look at Bohun topic or photos - ther is a saturated but bright black

you know what's the problem with your blacks? (if these armor plates on top should be black)
there seem to be darker elements on your mini than these blacks... and black should be darkest of them all, shouldn't it? even if it's not really black (reserve it for shading black)
and gold is looking shiny now. well done!

Yes you two are probably right with the Blacks. I will try to darken them with glazes of Black Today..
I have overdone the highlighting without bringing the midtones and shades back.
And the Bones are also too similar to the golds. Does anyone knows how to desaturate them?
Will glazes of Bleached Bone work for this?

two ways to desaturate colors:
- mix the base color with neutral shade of grey
- mix the base color with its complementary color
regarding blacks:
you're right - no need to paint black with pure black, but it's necessary to make it the darkest color on the model. otherwise it will not be very credible for the viewer's sight.
