Chest of Colors forum

Hi!

I would be happy to hear your feedback on my most recent work - Beastmaster on Manticore. As a part of commission I was asked to paint this beast without any reddish colors. The whole army is painted in pink-violet color scheme, so I was about experimenting a bit.

not as good as your last TT minis
I quite like the limited colour scheme, not convinced with light blue (veins, OSL) and green (scales) elements though.
very nice paintjob, but I'm sure you could do better

I always love a low number of colors used in the right way in a mini

That`s a fact, this won`t be my favourite model in the gallery, but on the other hand I`m quite happy how the rider turned out. Unfortunately the model of the manticore itself is a mish-mash of scaly-furry parts and maybe I get somewhere lost during painting.

Thats not only glaze to say the truth. It`s a more a complicated way of mixing and glazing all together to get the right transition. I`m not sure if I can say it`s a RMM but I`m feeling comfortable with this style of painting right now
Yeah, I`m know that the beast face could be sth more interesting. Maybe next time I will figure how do it nicely

i know you have much better minis, but i also know sometimes and for some reason we all paint just for fun and that mini, for me is what it was, besides i really like it
