Welcome Beltane!!
That's an amazing piece. I think I like the freehand of Sir Vitriol the most :D I can't see anything that I don't like, except for the blue axe handle. But that's just a matter of taste.

Good job, and I hope to see some more of your works here :)

Welcome and i really like that model, the freehand on the wall is superb and sets a good narrative with the whole thing.

Hi there and welcome.

What a nice mini! With one big "problem" though: the background scenery with that excellent fresco steals all the attention, or at least that's what I feel.
First I am caught by the excellent wall with freehand and only when I stared at it long enough I move on to admire the paintjob on the ogre. And this ogre is good, but the scene is dominated by the scenery piece.

Of course it's not a real problem, unless you wanted to the miniature to be the obvious attention catcher and the wall to be only an addition. But I think nobody mentioned it anyway :P

Mahon thanks for your comment :D the ogre and the base are a single thing to tell a story I tried to balance the two elements of composition, but like to hear different opinions help me to grow up
thanks

My only comment is it could do with a bit of light and shadow, other than that it's brilliant work... well done :D
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again
