and eventually she didn't use the hairspray weathering too much. she scratched the paint off her model, but I wonder how well it would work without the layer of hairspray...

the normal hairspray weathering method should make it easy to sremove paint with a brush (even if with addition of warm water). and I know she had to use a modeling knife/scalpel because thehairspray she had was too strong :lol:

I did it once with hairspray as well and encountered the same problem of paint comming off. You can use salt with water instead of hairspray, this worked better for me. just spray a layer of water on and sprinkle the salt where you want it.

when we combined the hairspray method with salt method - it worked fine. well, maybe except for the fact our salt was not fine enough...
without salt (as some do it) it didn't work well...
