good contrasts, eyecatching lighting. terrible veins, bad looking gums/mouth (I don't know what they are)

they are not that bad, just don't fit the rest of the model (i.e. skin) :)

the skin is very beautiful but I can't recognize the colour's scheme.

Can you explain your method ?

Yes of course .The base color was Gnarls Green from P3 palette.Next i washed all skin area with Gryphonne Sepia Wash from Citadel .Then i was paint 80 % of skin area with Dark Angles Green , later i was took my mini under board lamp to see where the shadows and the highlight should be .Next i add to Dark Angels Green a little bit of Goblin Green from Citadel palette .I added paint to pure Goblin Green , than i add to pure Goblin Green little bit of Jack Bone from P3 .When the mix i nearly pure Jack Bone , i took Skull White add some water and do glazes on maximal highlights places .Ok this is all :)
Sorry for my English

Happy Painting :)

Looks good to me and sometimes its ok to sacrifice realism for coolness sake... So I kind of like the arm vein and mouth.

I can see your point, but in this case it's not about realism for me, but about colours match. IMO they don't match, or even clash. YMMV

Yeah and its the contrast that I like it here, really pop up the model.

I am with Nameless here - to me the veins look wrong. Not because they're unrealistic, but because the colors don't seem to work well together there...
