For Wamp's Red box competition. Thinking that his head is just about finished. What are your thoughts?

Is he supposed to have 'wild glaring' eyes?

Like the beard but the left braid isn't highlighted like the right braid :S

I like the NMM atm, very nice and bright, i agree with the braids on the hair but as it's a wip im assuming it's not quite finished yet , any thoughts on a base yet? i mean looking at the mini some stone paved floor with a bit of snow and ice or something might work particularly well.

Nice pickup on the braids! But you are right these are not done yet. The base will be of a bar scene. More like he is the winner of a drinking game. I am picture him on top of the bar while he loser of the game is passed out on the floor. I have pictures of the floor but I am thinking of re-doing it. I did it with green stuff but it doesn't look right for this competition.

I love his face! Talk about a maniacal grin! The googly look in his eye is perfect for a jovial drunkard. Very nice.

I agree about the braid hanging under his right ear needing more highlight, and probably should also hit the loose ends of the beard braid with the same treatment. I'd like to see a pink tinge on the end of his nose and the apples of his cheeks for that flushed alcoholic glow.

Are you looking for suggestions about things other than his head or is it too early for that?

I will take all suggestions. If I am not there yet, I will keep it in mind as I get to that area you mention.

thats a crazy dwarf, only two sugestions the fur and the horn needs something more like a shadow

Re-do. I thing this look more natural then the other floor I did. Critques welcome.

what is the plan for the base? just wood or there'll be something more standing than just a model?
