More info on the painting competition, which they claim is "the biggest in Germany", the Golden Duzi: https://www.excaliburminiaturen.de/duzi/ ... ameset.htm

Since this is a two day event I'm wondering whether you will have to be there for two days, or if you can enter on Sunday as well...

The painting competition is not very big (in fact I think it's rather small), but it's quite relaxed and less busy then Crisis. And you can check out the cabinets almost the entire day, no judging behind closed doors. The event itself is also not very big but we always enjoy ourselves anyway... so don't expect a huge crowd, but that makes it easier to chat a bit with everybody. And since there was no Mini Art Con this year we haven't had our Germany trip yet. And what would a year be without some proper German food ;-) They cook way better then most Dutch restaurants!

EDIT: I wouldn't go both days though, I think Sunday is enough if you want to enter the comp.
