Very good mini, I like him a lot. I don't understand what is that baseball bat like thing in his hand, but that's my problem :).

The glossy look came out very well, I think there is also some blood on the trousers as well, but not sure.

Thanks for the comments Guys 8)

@ Mahon - the glossiness on parts of his trousers is in fact MORE BLOOD

Hi

I would just like to say that I love the sense of menace that this mini gives, the painting is excellent and the base is very nice but I think it is the very real look of the blood and gore that makes the mini, kind of reminds me of Reservoir Dogs.

I would love to know how you achieved the look.

Cheers Tim.

the blood on this mini is just amazing ! how did you get such a realistic effect?

also the blending on the face and the white shirt is very smooth, it's always very hard for me to work with white so you did a great job there as well.

no, no, no!!! :snooty:
I am sure it's not zombie's blood - he probably had an accident during cricket play and that's the reason of this whole bloody mess...

I really like this mini - as Mahon said it's a bit too glossy but blood looks very realistic; the black-and-white floor fits the mini well: I imagine him walking thru hospital's halls and mercilessly eliminating corpses (brought back to life by some twisted and damn evil experiment) coming out from morgue...

:curtain: I'm mad, I'm mad...!!! :bonk:

the blood is suprisingly simple
Tamiya Clear Red   best stuff in the world just add a little black ink and thats it, best blood effect in the world next to the real thing.
i don't find white that hard really, all mine is is ghostly grey (very light grey) over the black undercoat. once you have a solid base colour its just a matter of adding white to the grey for the highlights the real trick is to use very thin watered down layers so as to avoid the chalky look

Great minds think alike (and so do psychotic one's)
