Gimiak's Bloody Angels

Redav convince me to put some info and pics of my 'story'. Last year in some around Summer I've started to paint my second army for 40k. I've choosen the dark red color scheme of the Red Templars with influance of the Blood Angels. After GW have published new edition of the Space Hulk I decide to make my army a Blood Angels look alike. I don't follow exact colors from codex.

So far I've painted:
Vehicles
4,5 x Drop Pod (I still have to paint one of the parts) (140)
3 x Razorback / Rhinon (165)
1 x Land Raider Crusader / Redeemer (260)

Troops
1 x Combat squad (90)
10 x Death Company (280)
2 x Termonators from Space Hulk (80)
4 x Sternguard Veterans (145)

Characters
Lemartes, Guardian of the Lost (original) / reclusiarch (~100)
Librarian in terminator armour / Lemartes from Space Hulk (130)
Reclusiarch with Infernus Pistol

To sum up I've painted around: 935 points (army) and 1780 points (whole).

Right now I'm painting three Baal Predators. One with flamestorm cannon and two with assault cannons.

what a week for ToG. I thought we were slowly running out of participants and suddenly 3 more showed up cool. hope you can all show us frequent updates!

I've played tyranids in the former codex edition and looking deeply at my games I've find (somehow) the best options for the whole army. After I played several games it was borring to do everytime the same thing. With the new dex for tyranids I've lost my desire to play them. maybe it was because of that my painted big guys aren't playble in current configuration and I really don't want to break their arms... With my Bloody AngLes project I want to paint a lot o minis and change my army rooster with painted models. Every week it will be something new for me as well for my opponent. That's my (not so) secret idea. It goes pretty good. In January and February I have small break because of mental health problems but now I'm doing fine.

About color schemes for my army I have choosen:
- Veterans, Sanguinary Guards - gold
- tactical squads - scab red > red gore
- assault squads - scab red > red gore + black / white helmets
- terminators - scab red > blood red
- death company - chaos black + regal blue > codex grey

It's quite cool that ou have distinguished the colours slightly and the start of this tale is epic in itself but the fact that you have alot more just boggles the mind

After more then one month I have finally finish my three Baal Predators.

After small break I will continue to paint my army. Now I have to prepare 15 marines for Assault Squads.
