hello everyone,

my name is Harold and i,m new to this forum, i,ve been painting for a long time but after a whyle i kinda stoped with the gaming hobby , i lost interest in gaming.
but the painting itch never realy went away and 3 years back i started painting again on a relative steady pase (i never was the fastest in the lot  )

its usualy not that it takes me long to do a mini but the time i have to do it is limited usualy i try to paint an hour every day but most of the time its more like 4 hours of real painting per week.
the picture below is a miniature i,m currently working on and its at the level i,m currentluy stuck on for years without any serius improvement :banghead:

i,m quite pleased with it but the real problem is consistancy the next one can be utter rubish :bonk:
have a look at the introduction section of the forum an look for Dutchy there is the latesd miniature i finished there you can see what i mean.

any hits tips critism is welcome

greets

Harold

sorry for any spelling errors

NMM on the iron hand looks really good and you are right, the paint consistency could be a more thinner.
the gold NMM doesn`t quite look like gold and I don`t know how to change it :-(
I like the face :-)

Hi,

Nice commissar, the only thing i think of is to blend the colors with glazes, that way you will have smoother colors and transitions, give a read at Mahon tutorial is very good.

The face and hand both are very cool.
