Tale of Gamers - introduction

hi folks,
we're starting another fun event - Tale of Gamers.
Something like this was done for the first time in White Dwarf magazine. Participants had a monthly budget fixed, they had to buy minis and build their armies.
We'll try to do something similar to it. We don't have any strict rules though, we rather see it as a fun way to motivate ourselves to paint armies/warbands for gaming purposes.
So, what are the "rules"?
Anyone can open his/her thread here. No special invitation is required. Only own armies/warbands are eligible. Commissioned armiesdo not qualify for the tale.
Every army should be posted in a separate thread. In each of threads painters will show their pics (WIP and final) as they proceed - without any strict schedule. It would be nice though to see the family pic showing all minis painted from the outset every now and then. Also, some notional plan would be welcome, so that we know what are the painter's goals.People can of course comment in threads.
I'd like you to post your army pics here only. Don't double pics by posting them in your individual showcase threads.
Rewards are not planned for this event.
