Quite nice "dirty" painting. What is it? Washes?

The basecoat received some washes yes, but this is hardly visible in the end result. The gritty effect is mainly achieved by a streaky style of painting. Simply building up from dark to light using a stroke pattern.

good table-top quality. Colours don't really work together for me. bases could get bit more attention.
I need to learn from you (or others) how to quickly paint units to such standard.

Difficult to tell, bit I won't say it was quickly done
but then again I'm a slow painter

I like streaks on the armour - looks real dirty

Detail like the yellow stripes is really cool paintwork.
But the green, red and silver elements don't look that good. IMHO they are too flat - making them more highlighted could help.

Finished the little undead vs elf diorama. Painted it just for fun in less than 10 hours (probably less). I know it's full of errors, I wanted to paint this one up as fast as possible, so stay easy on the comments

But there's one thing which really turned out well despite the hastely painting: the rust on the helmet.
Anyway it looks good in my display cabinet (from a distance lol

).
