Heya,

I promised Demi to show him my current work that I do in between painting the typhus model, and I decided I might as well post them here. It's not much, only some quick pictures showing GS work on two models at the moment. When these two are finished I need to do 5 others for the squad. I plan to show those here too

My GS skills are limited but I think this is a good way to improve them.

There is still some GS work left on these two, and I need to smoothen some parts. This is only the beginning of my path to pus

Marine 2,3,... will follow as soon as I've done them.

I can sure use the help on GS'ing so if anyone has some tips of what to sculpt more or some tips please say so. If there are any comments on something, please don't hold back

If you take out the filling of a pen you can use it to make nice boils. Just put a blob of greenstuff on the area you want to have a boil on, then press the (hollow) pen into it and carefully retrieve it. Carefully remove the excess greenstuff and voila, you put a boil on it!

I like them a lot and believe you will achieve a cool effect. The onjly thing I do't quite like is the breathing pipe. It's too simple. But you can still add some dertails to it. Maybe some rot, some bubbles, growths, etc.

now, there is a solution for that thing. I tried to make it look like a respirator tube first, but it just looked wrong. and then I decided to use a plain tube. Today I almost cut it off because I didn't like it Thanks for the ideas Mahon.

Thick guitar strings work well for respirator hoses...

I know, but I don't know if they are expensive, and I asked a guy from school who plays guitar for them, but he said he recently throwed his old strings away

To my knowledge they're not expensive! My brother bought some for about twenty euro's, all sort of sizes and thickness. And enough to last him a long time! Just walk into a music instrument shop and find out...

Both still a long way from being finished. These pics also show me some parts that I need to improve

I bought 2 guitar strings for...dunno...5 ? ? YOu don't even have to take the top quality ones, since you obviously will cut them apart anyway ^^
