Looks like a Wh40k bear with lightning claws

I'm not too sure about the sculpt...

The claws look weird to me. Not sure yet if I actually like the sculpt or not...

I like to idea, the pose and the armour.
But, as you have already mentioned, the sausage-like fingers look weird.
To be honest, the scultp is correct, in the sense that bears have their claws spread wide, but it is not always good to be 100% correct

it may look cool after painting but for now it looks a bit soft and lacks sharpness of some details.
cool idea though...
