Re: Slayers of Daemons
I think on problem could be is that from the group shot they looks like a dis-organized bunch of models. Don't get me wrong, individually they look good but together they are not easy on the eyes...

Re: Slayers of Daemons
they look nice but I think they beed more contrast:
some devlan mud on beards and hair should be a good start

Re: Slayers of Daemons
I agree on the contrast. Particularly in the group shot, the hair, skin, and weapons all kinda blend together.
Re: Slayers of Daemons
I already told it in the Polish section but I will repeat it here (even if only in a short version) for those who don't read Polish...
I think that the base doesn't help the models but creates such an unclear picture that the models are lost in it, and something simpler and less blending with the models would be better for the final effect. Just compare it with the picture below (WIP) and see how much better they stand out and benefit from clearer presentation on this unfinished base:

The models also lack some deeper shadows or stronger highlights. They look flat, and this makes them look together like an unrecognizable mass...
From a distance you don't see any details of the sculpts, and that's what highlights are for - to show the details and pick them out.
Still the quality is much better than on the previous works. Big improvement to neatness and quality of painting. I just think you're not ready for limited palettes and low-contrast paintjobs... Try more exaggerated painting first and then return to more limited color schemes

Thank you for all critic and comments!
Here is my finished Vampire - this was my first attempt to paint whole mini in NMM. I painted it last summer as a break for the slayers.
It will be a starter for a new Vampire Count`s army
regards,
sea.man

Re: sea.man workshop
I managed to finish the most famous couple in the Old World.
I am happy with the Felix`s cloak, shoes and his hair, I could have done better with the Karaghul sword.

I`m more happy with another Orc warboss in my collection. This model was given with WD for WH40k.

Re: sea.man workshop
I feel the gotrek and felix models themselves lack a little contrast. The eyes on felix are so strange, i think he has too much white in them, you should give a slightly large blob of colour in the whites then dot the central part with black. I think a bit of a tidy up will really do wonders for them. One thing which i really like are the striped trousers and boots on Felix, they are well defined and super neat.
The ork is pretty darn cool, it's quite a dark model tho, some more light will help judge but as it stands for me it could do with a couple more stages of highlights to make his skin pop. The skulls and the yellow are superb, i really like them. Good stuff !
