Well these were gleaned from Warseer but still some nice stuff but also some stuff which im not keen on. Being a space wolf fan a couple bits are a bit disappointing.

I think this looks quite good, from a gamer's perspective.

Why are you disappointed? Did you expect more?

well from a gaming point of view im over the moon, looks like Christmas is coming 3 times this year for me. But things like the big wolf model just looks rediculous and silly to me. Although i am a space wolf fan i don't like marines without helmets or at least respirators, so all these new heads they are adding etc really don't do anything for me.

I think they will be gamer's paradise and probably a great addition to most converters' arsenals.
lots of very characterful parts and pieces. you will surely see many cool models made with these parts!

but my thought about the wolf was "ouch, why did they have to do THIS..." :?
am I getting old and can't accept yet another revolution?
or is it plain silly?

Okay the big wolf is just plain ridiculous! As for the bare heads Arctica, didn't alot of SW models used to have bared heads?

that's called evolution - they don't need these breathing masks anymore :P

(they need big wolves though) ;)

true but none of my army do ;) although the heads would be quite good for marauders :)

I'm also disapointed, after looking at last releases... bastions/landingpad/defense line/ clever design, ironclad jugger, scout landraider, the freaking amazing spacehulp sprues... this is just plain boring, uninspired stuff.

ok - in comparison these don't shine. but they're a decent step forward from the previous SW minis.
well, maybe except for the pup...
