Chest of Colors forum

I just can't see how the new forum shows which threads have been read and which have not. On the old forum the thread icons were in different colours if the thread was read by myself but the ones on the current forum are all the same colour even when I click the show unread posts link.

Am I missing something?

here I can see that unread threads have icons with red elements, while read threads don'thave the red elements.

It's is abit unclear in the beginning and takes some using to. I do really miss the 'mark topics read' option though...

There it is, it's VERY difficult to see when your partially colour blind like what I am DOH!

I don't want to implement some of these features as modifications of the forum, as a new version is to be released soon, and I want to see what changes it will bring.

If the new update doesn't change the icons much is it possible to make it all read and all blue as opposed to just the outer ring changing colour please?
