I painted these a few years ago for Necromunda (I no longer play it).
These are not well painted (I am newbie) so please put your comments in that light.

Well, they are cute.

And the photo is not clear. I always tend to give more generous comments on web-photoed minis as the photos may misjustify the quality.

I guess if you use these models for gaming purpose, it is fair enough. The color tone is warm and can be easier to draw the attention.

However, the pink, the black and the brown can have some more highlightings to make the models stand out more.

pics are blurry indeed.
from what I see it seems that paintjob is clean, bur very flat, like you only painted basic colours.
these are old minis, so I think that you now (after classes with LadyEyes) know a bit more about shading/highlighting stuff.

As Nameless puts it they are quite bland. However the new Citadel washes might be your friend here. If you splash them over flat colours like there then they instantly look both shaded and highlighted and improve a lot.

Try it out, I'll bet the effect will surprise you! :)

That is about the best I can do with my camera. Do you guys consider these photos any better?
Here are some other pictures of them:

These were intended for gaming.

Washes, I am hoping to learn more about that topic in the next few months and at classes at GENCON 2009.

just saw the pic. somehow haven't seen it before. they're so flat - gaming or not, they still deserve some detailing. even some dipping will be better than flat colors, or so I think...

Dipping, not sure what you mean by that. Do you have a post or a website somewhere describing it?
