After having pretty much a break from painting for about 3 years I've finally got the urge to take up the brush again! I sepose you could see this project as a "Dont stop painting or this will happen to you" reminder, It's gonna get ugly :P ...literally.

Anyway, picked up a cheap mage from the local store yesterday and put in on a base:

There's a copy of this post on cmon forums but I wanted to post it here too since I recall getting very frank and honest criticism here which I love, So I'm sorry for the somewhat tedious "re-post" =)

=) No, It's just a black undercoat, Merely wanted to present the project with a picture.

And I usually only meddle with GW figs so in terms of GW models I thought it was quite cheap =) forgive my ignorance!

The picture makes the mini appear as if it has had a zenithal coat of white very smoothly added, but it is atcually the light being reflected off the mini, correct?

A small update with skin and eyes, was hard to photograph because of overexposure so I apologize for the poor quality of the picture.

I'll start with Hair and metals tomorrow so hopefully a more fun update inc.

Nice and tidy on the eyes which is something I'm only just getting to grips with myself, not sure I'd go with a black though, what's your final colour going to be?
