Well I was hoping for a chance to paint and post pictures recently but unfortunately my lungs have been getting worse and worse to the point I ended up in Hospital following a couple of nasty coughing fits leading to respirator failure.

After spending a week and a half on drips and oxygen we found out that the birds (cocatiels) that the Mrs brought with her are killing me I have been suffering from 'extrinsic allergic alveolitis' which in layman's terms is 'Pigeon fanciers lung' and meant we had to get rid of the birds or me

So out with the birds and in with the oxygen cylinders... My lungs have improved a bit due to the seriously strong steroids they have me on so in the near future I hope to get back into painting and posting with renewed veracity!

So don't worry, you haven't gotten rid of me just yet

well at least you're now on the road to recovery, i hope you get well soon. I always found having some fresh lemons cut open nearby helps me to breathe when i was alot younger due to my asthma, might be something you could try too?

I think you should have revenge by having a chicken for dinner when you get out . That will show the avian kind what for.

Glad to hear you are on the mend. Listen to the Drs. and don't try to over do it, just because you feel better. Your body needs time to adjust as well and your lungs! DAMHIK!

I might try the Lemons Arcticia but for now the Oxygen makes the breathing sooooo much easier and Living in London probably means there's not much of clean air to begin with

Thought you would like to know Neolis I've eaten chicken 3 times since I've been out of hospital, the thought of getting my own back never occurred to me as I might get all weepy if I thought about the birds while eating dinner but having said that I used to joke about turning one of the birds into a light snack and the fact the he himself used to eat my chicken off my plate probably didn't help his cause any

I hear what your saying Dragyn, I tried to do some housework this week, took me almost 20 minutes to just take out some rubbish
