I have heard from a few people that they are quite good. But I would like to hear from someone who has actually painted some stuff with it.
So anyone got experience with those washes?

Yes. I've used them on my project X mini and love the already! You can swamp your mini and it'll still dry up matt without blotches or anything. Creates nice shading and pulls the blending/layering well together.

Out of habbit I did it most of the time but it's not necessary per sé.
I can seriously advice to buy them!

Yes, I have very similar feelings about them. I have bought a whole box of them.
But I won`t agree that they are good with metallics as such. If you want to make a dirty, weathered metal they are ok. But If you want just to shade metal they are to thin and just flow over the whole element.
Interesting option is to add a drop of an old ink to the new wash, that works for me.

yeah that's right, but still I'm concerned that you can make really nice gold with sepia and devlan mud, really nice...., try it... I think it's also fine to mix new washes to achieve some kind of middle tone in a shading or similar but its my own theory...There is also thing with flattering layers of highlighting but this depends on the color because not every wash flatter some of them even more expose every gentle step of your highlight, but still in my opinion its worth of your effort
