I'll wait with comment for better pics - I would prefer not to judge these works basing on current photos...

I would like the others to be able to see a better picture of your fimir. It was interesting to see this almost forgotten miniature at the GD. It was more purple I think...

The squig diorama suffered from rushed painting I think - the concept was really nice and amusing, but the paintjob didn't stand up to the standard...

As I said I'll ask Przemas to help me with pics :D As for the rush...both were rushed but I'm glad i didn't give up-and I'm really happy with my first serious sculpting attempt (thou I know how many mistakes there are), And for the fimir I always loved the concept of the Fimirs, but fimir minis by GW were well funny, not demonical in any way. And I tried to suggest that aspect of the Fimir, by adding some not fully evolved demonic wings muscles on his back, and some grim, pale look contrasting with base - dead warrior in the swamp, piranha swiming under wawter and all this stuff. As for the squig I wanted to add a bit more funny side of the project -so thats why there are bunnies there "not speaking" "not hearing" "not saying" so basically all against violence ;)

I assume that it was the fimir's base that you had problems with?

Congratulations on finishing these models! I know how difficult it is to finish anything when time is limited...
I suspected it was scratchbuilt but was not sure.

As for fimirs, well, I am more accustomed to these fatter ones, like in the old days of Warhammer. But regardless if it is a fimir or not, it is a very good first serious attempt at sculpting. Not perfect but you know it, and we have more knowledgeable people here to comment on the sculpt.

I like your attempt to re-create the look of the classic Fimir. I agree that the old Fimir were a bit comical but had potential. And I still think they do.

Hope to see better pics soon! :)

not followers of chaos IIRC, half-demons half-humanoids...

According to the fluff they were real bastards allright! Raping human women and stuff like that, pretty evil in my book!
