It seems that 7 bombs have been planted/exploded in london.
According to radio 4 there have been 28 casualties, 9 or so of which have been fatal.
It is sad that this has happened - but it was inevitable. It was only a matter of when. The question is whether the emergency services can save enough lives.
With these incidents in mind, the british government will no doubt introduce new laws that will fail to counter terrorism but will counter freedoms.
london bombed.

RE: london bombed.
it was really tragedy... each such event is a tragedy...
althought terrorism is really f*cked up thing it didn't come from nowhere: every powerful state which decide on aggresive foreign politics must think about consequences of it's deeds...
sad but true

They ought to have learned from the IRA bombings that terrorism doesn't work on us British.
People are saying it's Al-quieda... But this isn't their style.
Apparantly one of the detonations was activated by mobile phone, so they've shut down the networks.
BBC Radio 5 report from Scotland Yard says that apparently the bomb on the bus is the result of the first known suicide bomber in the UK.
A good quote from a witness:
"Whoever did this, I pity them."
"Pity?"
"Yes. Whoever would commit such an act needs pity."
