You need more highlights. After that is done you might need some more shading (depending on contrast) and you can use colorglazes after all the highlights and shading to smoothen it out and make the skin more interesting.

I like the bust and I'm looking forward to see how this develops :)

ToMaZ is right - highlights are really needed there. I'd add some yellowish or bone colors to the highlights to keep them warm colored. Maybe some cold colors in the shadows?

Now it's looking very promising but but it's pretty obvious it's still early WIP and many layers need to be added for great effect.
You're going in the right direction...

cheers for the advice guys, am quite happy with the skin, theirs more contrast irl, i think my lights washed out the paint job a little.

iv added greens and yellows to the highlights, red and blue (to make purple splitters ;)) for the shadows, some places need some smoothing out but am happy overall. Thinking about finishing the cloth off in green tartan

shadows are bit too dark, imo. it would look good on a zombie, but not really on this guy :)
eyes, lips and wounds are

You still need more highlights. I would bring it up to an offwhite color, like Ivory. After that I'd use thin glazes of a blue and a reddish brown (and maybe more colors) to bring some color into it and smoothen it.
You might also try to paint some scars or bodyhair.

Something about the eyes is weird... but I can't put my finger on it :)

The wounds came out great.

@ToMaZ: I think the eyes look a bit weird-ish because the eyebrows are not done yet. Think they'll come out nice once the brows are painted.

@Nameless - I think ur right, i havnt actually been back over them with my basecoat so ill do that when i work on him next

@Tomaz - ill look at brightning the highlights that are their, unfortuantly the pics dont show that the highlights are alot brighter, but ill defo add some more.
As for the eyes, its prob cause their not a realistic colour (and theirs no eyebrows yet of course :p) and this is supposed to be a realistic mini. ill look at adding some scratches, as for the hair, am planning on making him blonde, would blonde chest hair stand out enough to be painted?

Cheers guys!
