My gaming group is maybe going play pulp (~1930s). So I have started painting some chinese figures for the period.

First up is a couple of eureka chinese ladies from their pax limpopo range.

Backing to topic
I like how you painted a dress. As to the hair I on your place will be try to achieve more shiny effect (more gloss varnish) and mayby I will try to mix a black with some blue (the hair should be imho darker).

As to the sculpt I do not like that naked legs -they look soo disturbing  (great skin). Base is very ascethic

Great job!

I have to agree! Well, always nice to see women full stop! haha, just that female asian minis are rarer...

Thanks for the nice comments fellas!

For the hair, the pics are lit up from the top so it looks greyer than it actually is. but I get what you are saying. Will experiment with a few different blues next. Lots more chinese fiugres in the painting queue.

Have not decided on a rule set yet but the guy that is spearheading the game at the moment is a GASLIGHT fan so might have to end up using that ruleset. Personally I don't think that highly of the rules but I don't mind playing anything really.

btw, you do know of White Knight's pulp showcase right?

Got more painted, not quite as exciting as a couple of leggy ladies unfortunately! These are Tong gangsters from Pulp Figures. I just bought them online and they arrived last week. I really loved them! So much so I had to paint up a pack straight away! Let me know what you think!

This lot I painted a bit faster than normal so the blending and stuff is a bit rough.

I did try to use blue for the hair but didn't like it that much, in the end I painted it the way I usually do (with greyish highlights) then gave it a black wash to tone it back done. It looks mostly black now though...
