How to paint good dark yellow?

Hello,

Can anybody tell me wich shade color i need fore dark yellow?
I have a collectiopn of GW paints and VMC.

The effect needs to be a Ocre yellow.

I mix yellow with different browns to get darker tones, and yellow with bleached bone for highlights. But there is probably tons of other possibilities.

I'd go from Snakebite (Cobra) Leather through Bubonic Brown and then various yellows, to Bleached Bone.

post a picture between the excellent and offcourse very high standard on this forum :)

Scibor used gw foundation yellow color - it turned out nice I must say:
this paint covers model much better than standard yellow tone

Well I am still working on the models. And they are a way behind the skill of painting that is displayed here on this forum. :oops: But I am also constructing a complete army.


The army is based in the mountains so that is why the dark grey stones.

The hats need to be painted then dark yellow.
