Working on a small warband for a customer. Not much work has been done so far... just the skintones basically. Once again I'm going for a good tabletop quality...

But you just have to check out the girl on the right. That weapon is simply ridiculous: it's as long as the mini is tall, and very thin so easy to bend or break...

More to come very soon.

EDIT: fixed the link

I just can`t wait to see more pictures!
I`ve recently bought those 2 miniatures (2 on the right):-)
- are you going for the default color schema (proposed form anima t.)?
- are you going to leave the back of the Cordelia`s dress separate?

I don't really like the studio paintjobs on the miniatures... way too colorful :)
For the figure in the middle I wanted to do a rather dark paintjob with black and red. But my customer wanted to have a more anime feel, so there's probably going to be some bright colors mixed in.
For Cordelia I am going for a pink and beige colorscheme I think. And her dress is glued in place and gaps filled with milliput, so the inside is invisible.

Have you seen people leave the back of the dress off?

(for those who are unfamiliar with this model: the inside of the dress has the legs sculpted and a hidden weapon also)

Hmm :) Interesting idea, but what for?

Minis are nice. I'm waiting to see more pictures.

I really like the first and third sculpt. Less enthusiastic about the second one, but the painting looks nice so far.
Not that there's anything exceptional in their skin for now, but it's nice to see you painting again!

Some more WIP news on two of the figures. Both of them are very rewarding models to paint. The third figure (not in this wip post) is a bit of a pain in the ass to paint: lots of small details such as ribbons, flowers and other ornamentations.

See them here: https://corvusminiatures.blogspot.com/20 ... nd-ii.html
