yeah Mahon, that's a cool article
but I'd like to see a painted version of those "Vapor Trails"' with that Tau weapon. Don't know if it's possible to achieve something realistic with those metal wires

generally I don't like these "vapor trails" "smoke" or such effects on minis too much.
PS - the "angmar terrain" article is cool too

i liked the weapon section too
maybe with a bit of GS the trails could be nice

Those Rat-Spawn look truly disgusting, which is good. And I liked the article about the weapon conversions.
And yes, the first Black Gobbo issues were a lot better and way more interesting. It had actually been quite a while since I last read one!
