The 2008 Newbold Challenge has raised Â?3,008 GBP so far for Children in Need against our target of Â?5,000 for the full year. Very many thanks to everyone who is helping us to make steady progress towards our target.
Weâ??ve just posted a selection of the artwork and sculpts that weâ??ve received so far in August in our Recent Arrivals Gallery. Highlights include artwork by Brendan Keeley and Ana Peig for the first of our Skoog Bad Guys, Alexi-zâ??s first full sculpt in heroic 28mm scale and a bunch of horse & musket style Skoog Skirmishers from Aaron Brown. And we have 18 super entries in our 3rd Charity Artwork Event which closed on 31 July 2008. The judges are currently deciding who wins the Â?50 GBP prize and the Â?50 donation to Children in Need but if you like looking at a wide variety of artwork you might like to browse through the entries and pick your own favourites :-
