Would like to get some feedback on color choices that would go with what I am starting on the wing.

Be kind this is the first time I have spent so much time on a model.

waiting to see it painted - I know these patterns may be pain in the a$$ to paint

uhm, what wing? there are few of them
white parts look very nice for now. I'd perhaps made a deeper shadow between the upper part of the wing and 'feathers' Hope that you know what I mean

Yep =) I see what your talking about.

The only wing I am talking about is the one on the front of the bike. I wanted a little advice on color choices for the part underneath the wing. I know I want to go darker but not black. And I want something that is going to complement the blue/white of the wing.

My current thoughts are:
dark purple (with more red)
dark green (with more yello)
dark red

I want to keep the primary color warm as the details are going to be NMM silver (with no blue) so just the neutral grey tones.

well, theoretically ravenwing should be black if you want to use other colour though, I'd suggest choosing your 2nd proposal. Seems like most fitting, it's dark angels chapter after all
do you want to paint power armour and jetbike with the same shade?

I'd go midnight blue myself, but then I like color schemes that harmonize as oppose to high contrast ones.

@Nameless - Not concerned with the normal DA colors. I am actually going to be playing this army. It will be fluffed as a vanguard of the Raven Wing (so yes the vanguard vanguard of the DA) Yes the armor and the bikes will be the same color.

Since I am going to play this army, 36 bikes, I want the colors to be striking and eye catching. 6 of the bikes are comming from Scibor and they are functioning as a command squad.

The list in itself is actually weak, but I am going for best paint in tournaments. I know it doesnt take the level I am going for but I like to blow people away . Out of 15 or 20 fairly large tournament I have participated in here in the states I have taken best paint 12 times. I want to up the anti a lot with this army.

@Skya - I see what your saying, and if it were not a battlefield army then I would agree with you, I love limited pallete. So if you were walking around a tournament and 150 or so armies were sitting around what would draw your attention most? I say this because sometimes the best painted armies do not recieve much attention.
