Ok - I'm going to be brave and put these out on the web for people to see!

So far all I have is my daemonette (better photos than in the brain storming topic).

I know the skin needs redoing - she's still in the early stages - although it has the colour that I was after. The highlights here are REALLY dodgy...

Photos were taken in a new little "studio" thingy I set up for taking photos of my minis.

Nice choice of colours, apart from the feet - aren't they supposed to be flesh?
The blending is not done here. The cloth need some additional highlighting. Also the thing on her chest is some kind of pedant? If so the also the color is wrong.

lol - I haven't touched the pendant yet :P

As for the feet - I thought I'd be different, and try and make them claw-like instead of flesh like.

Thanks for commenting, though. I will take to highlighting when I next paint. :)

use watered down paint - Your painting should be smoother then :)

Last night I started work on my first Chaos Marine. He's technically a noise marine, but not one of my sonic blaster guys.

I've also redone the highlighting of the daemonette's skin and it looks WAY better now. Will take pics of that probably tonight.

But I do have pics of the marine! Please note, the only finished part of him is the hair thing.

yeah, Demi is right. The hair looks just spot-on! just do the same to the other parts.

I assume he had to be pink, right? :(

He is a Slaanesh marine...

My Space marines are bright orange ^^

A wash of green ink might deepen the shades a little, followed by a little more selective highlighting...

I'll try get pictures of my daemonette's revised skin highlights tonight...

Thanks as always for the comments and tips :)
