The First Figure Painting Event of the 2008 Newbold Challenge is now up and running. Main features are :-

1. $100 USD for the winner and $100 for Children in Need.

2. Your favourite command figure or small group.

3. Any genre from historical to sci-fi

4. Closing date of 30 June 2008.

You should have more categories, or more prizes (e.g. for best three entries). That would imo bring you some more contestants, who could say - what for do I enter, when there's AlexiZ or Ana around with their entries

You could enter for the fun of competing against the best!

You could enter in case the best decide not to enter because they think that Nameless will win!

You could enter for the thrill of having your marvellous paintjob admired by all our visitors!

Or you could enter because you have a heart of gold and it is a very good cause!

Or you could enter because I have to give $2 USD to Children in Need on behalf of each person who enters even if they do not win!

There are so many reasons to enter even without prizes for being second or third!

I does this work if I want to enter.( Terrifying with everybody entering and my lower skill level )) Do I have to send you the mini(s) over to you if I'm a poor photographer ? Does it cost anything to enter(donation to children in need or something else ?

Hi Moose.

There is no entry fee. We sponsor everyone who takes part by donating $2 USD to Children in Need on behalf of each entrant regardless of their level of skill. We will also sponsor a couple of experts more heavily just to make sure that there is some decent competition for Nameless to worry about!

Of course anyone can make a donation of their own if they wish, either via the Challenge or direct to CiN if they prefer.

Please do not send your figures to me! I am the world's worst photographer. If you are really not good at photography please find someone who lives near you who will help.

Yep, that's a gooed enough reason to enter - the donation to charity for the very fact you participate.
